Has anyone heard of its availability in the US. I have been waiting for this model for a long time and it was even released a few weeks ago but no sightings yet. Has anyone seen it in the US or heard about when it will be available?

Yes I would like to know this too. The Ferrari 4005wlmi is very very nice but alittle high. The 4402wlmi is very nice too, and very affordable but only has 64MB VRAM on the X700 GPU. So I'm waiting for something like the 4402wlmi but with 128MB X700 and the 5020 series is just that! I heard over at laptoplogic that this notebook will be released in the US, yes, but when?

I have not heard anything about the Acer 5020 series coming to the US. I looked pretty good, all over the web, and I was only able to find it on UK sites.

As far as I can tell, I think they want us Americans to buy the Ferrari 4000 if we want a 128M video card :-[ That is a bit out of my budget I'm afraid.

Believe me, if I could find one, I'd import it in a heartbeat.
