I have 2 Acer Aspire 5050 and both are having the same problems. They are not charging. The battery is good and the charger adapter is good. It started that by having to adjust the charger adapter cord and it would charge and then you would have to hold the cord in. Now it is not charging at all and my battery is dead. What do I need to fix this problem. It seems like it is not getting a good connection.

The problem is the pin for the power adapter in the notebook is broken on the inside.

I just fixed one the other day.
