    Hi all,

My first post here. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I am glad i stumbled upon this site. Looks like I will be reading and learning a lot here. I just bought this laptop off Ebay recently: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250230720285&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015
Anyways I was trying to get this thing going to find out the bios is password protected. I talked to the seller and he told me the password was all zeros. This doesn't work. I heard if you short out the Cmos battery it will reset the bios. The problem is i can't seem to find the cmos battery. I have most of the MB exposed on the bottom of the laptop at the moment. Anybody know the location of the battery? Once I get past the password issue I should be able to get this thing dialed in. Thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Mike

NBR does not allow the discussion on how to bypass security measures like BIOS passwords for any reason. Contact the manufacturer for assistance or contact the seller for a refund. Also do not bring up this topic again.
