As I posted earlier, I'm trying to go from vista to xp. I found it really easy by just deleting the C: partition with my original xp cd. But after it finishes formatting, the xp bar loads up, and boom... BSOD. What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to slipstream drivers into my xp cd or something? Or do I have to delete the PQSERVICE partition (which I assume is the recovery partition)? Do I have to change any settings here? I would appreciate any help guys. I can't stand Vista anymore.

UPDATE: A couple of minutes ago, I took out the cd and cleaned it. I put it back in the drive, delete and remofrmat C: drive once again, and now it's installing. It's weird.. But anyways, should I change any settings before I proceed? Like anything in the BIOS just to make sure it wont BSOD me again?

Do you have a SATA controller? Could be a problem between windows and it. I have seen BSOD exactly same problem with a computer that had SATA CD-ROM drive. If that's the problem, you'll need to slipstream SATA drivers to cd or get a floppy drive and copy driver package to a floppy which you will use when prompted to do so at the beginning of the installation.
