I bought a Acer 5100 with Vista on it about 5 years ago. When Windows 7 came out I bought an upgrade disc and upgraded to Windows 7. Something went wrong and I may have to reformat. I need to know which way to go about this. I don't have the Acer eRecovery software in my start menu anymore and I can't find the Vista recovery discs. I do have my Windows 7 Upgrade discs however and that is where I want to go. So how to go about this? Just put in the upgrade disc and go through the motions like I did when I upgraded? I'd like to get it right the first time to avoid coming back and having to ask the same thing over and over.
