Can anyone help me with this problem? After running windows update and restarting, I can no longer open the eTechnology applications anymore. All of the icons and program files are there, but when i click on the desktop shortcut/program icon, nothing happens. Also the ePowermanagement tray icon is still there but doesn't respond either. I cant even run the eRecovery app to set it back to before; Any advice?

    Thanks.

After system restoring 5 times, I've solved the mystery that has baffled so many acer users. Installing Internet Explorer RC1 then restarting your computer makes you lose your acer eManagement applications. How did I do it? Through tedious trial and error.
