Hi All,
I messed up my computer and need to restore it to the factory settings, but I did not burn the recovery CD. I deleted the windows directory and installed XP Pro, but I want some of the factory settings like the volume indicator and the wireless lan indicator. What I mean by the indicator is that when I press FN and the volume up button I want to see the green bars going up or down. If someone can help me get those back, it is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Andy,
I downloaded the drivers from acer and I don't see the onscreen displays of the volume or wireless lan.
Tried Alt F10 and it does not work. I have enabled it in the bios and I did not delete my recovery partition.
Please help me restore factory settings. Please include detailed steps. Thanks so much! -
I have the same problem. After formatting the C Drive, i could not access the Alt+F10
