I recently sold my Acer Aspire 5517 and kept the hard drive. I put the hard drive on my Acer Aspire 5315 with the OS still installed. The 5517 is a 64bit AMD and the 5315 is a 32bit Intel machine. When I stalled the hard drive, it seemed to install all the drivers necessary and everything seems to work fine. I even uninstalled the ATI drivers and updated the Intel drivers. So here is my question, am I risking anything at all by running the 64bit OS on the 32bit one? I don't wanna turn it on one day and it not work hahaha. The OS was preinstalled on the 5517 and is Windows 7 Home Premium.
