I have 2gb of ddr2 I think in bios anyway says Video is 8mb rofl. In Vista looking at the Acer esetting information it says video is 448mb.

I think personally 448mb is a tad too much anyone know why the different? I wasn't thinking this $399 laptop would be a gaming machine but, maybe I should load Madden 07 ad give it a shot.

says video is a mobile 965 express suppose to have a x3100 in it so I am not sure why it doesn't.

First off, a graphics card could have 2GB of memory and totally suck. The amount of memory does not define how good the card is.

Your 2GB of DDR2 RAM is actually your system RAM.

The Intel graphics card you have is a weak graphics card, and has no actual dedicated memory. It borrows 8MB of your system RAM for normal operation, like displaying the desktop and your office applications. Vista lets you borrow up to 448MB of system RAM for the graphics card to work, but the Intel graphics card would only ask for more than 8MB if it were to play games.

The Mobile 965 Express chipset does have the x3100 Intel GPU and that is what you have.

You can try Madden 07, but do not expect miracles.
