    Hi

I find this forum very useful. I have some questions for upgrade :

    1. Which type and how much maximum size hard disk can 5500 support ?
    2. Can it support or show 320 GB external USB hard disk ?
    3. I was dloading a file from Torrents ..named Opensuse linux.iso ..it was 4.35 GB ..but it always popped a error there is not enough space while I had 6.2 GB space left in C : drive..One more dloading utility Orbit said "System cant support file more than 4 GB  Any clue how to solve this

    Thnx

i'll try to check the SERVICE GUIDE for that model later this evening and see if it says anything about HDD sizes..

as for your torrent download, it sounds like your OS or your torrent app may be creating a TEMP file that is eating away at your last bits of HDD space...

it's definatly time for an HDD UPGRADE!

    1. No such limit. I've seen computers with ICH6 controllers having 2TB HDDs.

    2. Yes, but you need at least XP SP1 for it, due to LBA issues.

    3. You should also check if the file-system is FAT32 or NTFS.
