    Acer 5520 help please

    Hey all, so i have a 5520 aspire i had the shop install XP over vista for me what worked great, and ran all the acer empower stuff [data manager etc] then i swapped to vista, and all that stuff worked again

    so i finally swapped back to XP again but my self using XP pro
    but when i try to install the e-power stuff it wont work and says vista only etc help please

    the shop i got the laptop from said i can take it back to get them to do it but 3 hour drive away and dont wanna leave my laptop with them and worryed about stolen data etc

    Sounds like your E-power stuff is not backwards compatable with XP-Pro.
    You need to get the correct version for your O/S.
