I currently have 2GB ram (2*1GB at 667mhz) SODIMM but I would like to upgrade to 4 GB as I have a graphics card that uses almost a GB memory for itself leaving very little for games (Nvidia 7000m.) Should I go ahead or would it not be worthwhile? Thanks.

depends if you laptop can even support 4GB and you would probaly see a slight increase in performance it is a very old card.

Yeah, I'm sure it can support the 4GB. To put things into perspective, right now, I can run Call of Duty 4 on med to high settings with pretty decent framerates. I think that upgrading the RAM would do it until I buy my new Alienware at the end of the year, but I'm not sure.
