    Hi evreone

I have bought my Acer 5520g about a month ago, and I must say that Im very pleased with it. But, there is something bothering me, my firewire port doesnt seems to work. When I connect my DV Camera, nothing happends, no new device is found. I haave checked the cable, and it is OK, I have also checked the camera and tried with another one and still nothing happends. I am using WinXP SP2. Any help would be appreciated.
In system devices IEEE controller is listed as OHCI COMP. IEEE 1394, and it displays that the device is enabled and working fine.

I have the same model but never get to test firewire. I suggest checking in ePower management, if it is installed, because in power profiles the firewire port may be disabled.

I dont have epower installed, and when I try to install it, installer says that I should have .NET 1.1 or higher, but I have .NET 3.0, but still it wont install.

Thanx. I have managed to install epower but still ieee port doest recognize camera even when the 1394 port is on in epower. I dont know what to do except to return it to dealer because it has warranty.
