Does Acer have any type of liquid damage indicators? Long story short, soda was spilled on it and I don't have the money to replace it. Only way to cover my loss is to try and return it under manufacturers warranty.

I did take it apart last night, fully to the mother board (followed a service guide I found). Cleaned up any type of residue from the soda. Discovered some burnt marks and soot on the mother board from where it shorted out. I cleaned everything perfect, left the dust on the fan as well, wiped up any type of finger prints, put it back together.

To my eye it looks perfect. No root beer smell. No stickiness, no nothing. Outside is clean, inside is perfect.

While breaking it down, I was paying attention to warranty seals and making sure I dont break them. I found none so I am confident about that. However I know cell phones have them (liquid damage stickers), but do Acer laptops? I searched everywhere and found none.

Was hoping someone could give me some insight on this and let me know any tips or tricks.
