I've had an Acer 5633WLMI (VISTA Home Premium) for a few months with no problems at all, now though when I try to burn an Audio CD it burns and completes OK (Nero & Infra Recorder), but upon re-inserting the disc to check VISTA tells me it is blank:confused: although Nero & Infra recorder Burned "OK".

I know my VISTA install is a little buggy but could this alone cuase the "burn" problems?

It is burning to disc and not leaving an image file, The drive is selected as the recorder.

Hi i've got the same laptop bought it about two days ago, and I noticed from the start a noise its very low can only clearly ear when everywhere is dead silent but its there. I don't know if this is normal or I should do something about it.
Also noticed when I switch off from the mains the noise stops or when I reduce the brightness of the monitor it stops too.
Sorry if i went off the topic of the thread but can't seem to find where to open a new thread maybe its because I've just joined.
