    What does the acer 5672 with a x1600 score with stock settings in 3DMark 05? Also, what temperatures would it be with stock settings?

    I have the preinstalled stock drivers (acer package 8.241.0)
    Its weird b/c I cant find that set on acer's website. It's messed up that acer would preinstall a later ati driver on the laptop, but not update it on there website. (US driver is 8.202.0.0 and Euro is 8.231.0). Update your damb drivers ACER!!!

    4822 on x1600 in 3D mark 03? :eek: It would be OK in 3D Mark 05 but not in 03.
    My x700 (8 pp) OC'ed scores around 6500 in 3D Mark 03, so x1600 (12pp) should score probably around 7500 (default clocks).

    Benchmark scores for my Acer 5672 with ATI x1600 (128mb/512 hypermem)

    Standard Acer Ati drivers (8.241)
    3D MARK05 2845
    3D MARK03 4839
    Company of Heroes (automatic settings)
    avg 8.9
    max 46.0
    min 3.0
    *obviously these auto setting are for a desktop version of the x1600 (with high ram frequency and 128-bit memory bus). After setting some stuff to med and high (shadows and reflection on low), and no AF and AA. I get playable framrates.

    Standard ATi Mobility 6.9 drivers (not OMEGA)
    3D MARK05 2852
    3D MARK03 4826
    Company of heroes (same settings)
    Blank screen or BSOD, then reset. :mad: Bummer, I was hoping for a better experience with this game, but apparently Ati and Acer blows. Back to the Standard Acer drivers. I hope other have a better experience with there driver upgrade. If it aint broke, dont fix it.
