I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could give me some info on a decent cooling pad that will reduce the heat of this computer! Preferable I want input from the people that have the computer and the cooler. I dont feel like taking my computer apart and doing all those cooling tips that they have posted in the forums. I need an easy way out.. I am sorry if this has already been posted but I dont want to dig. Thanks in advance!

No easy way out. The best cooling pads don't fix the heat around the mousepad or do anything significant in terms of cooling.
The vent cover mod is needed to create circulation inside the chassis.
Want an analogy? Try unplugging your refrigerator, and then using a room fan to blow on the outside of the closed refrigerator and see how long your food lasts... -
PRH you didnt answer his question!
Get a Cooler Master -
I disagree with PRH. I have the 5672 (x1400 version) my touchpad would get hot enough to cook an egg (no I never tried
)
I use the BYTECC Notebook Cooling Pad ( Aluminum ) Powered by USB port Model NC-500

This isn't the quietest one, but it definitely works in keeping my temps down, (including HD), even at 100% cpu usage.
Let me know if you have questions -
....ok i have done the black cover thing.. but I need a good suggestion for getting a pad.. I am getting one reguardless of what you say PRH....So make a suggestion please...

Try cleaning out your radiators too. After only 7 months, I was amazed the amount of dust bunnies clogging up the radiators. -
is it possible to turn the fans so it is sucking hot air away from the laptop? will that help it any?
