Hi there I bought a 5672 last week and loving it so far. Just got a couple of questions.
I wanted to convert the hardrive to NTFS and i had a windows xp pro disk so I thought i would use that to convert it and have XP Pro at the same time.
But ever since i did that, now whenever I start my laptop it asks me if I want to boot up with XP Home or XP Proas well as that before I changed anything bootup time was a couple of seconds and now its like half a minute and the fourway button thing on the touchpad doesnt work anymore.
So im thinking about using the recovery disks to restore it to how it was originally. Will it make a difference now the hardrives in NTFS and will it wipe everything off and be a clean install?
Thanks for any help
Tom

1. Open My computer
2. Tools > Folder options > View > "Hide protected operating system files"
- Fill in the circle
3. Look for a file named "Boot.ini"
4. Open it
5. Look for the line with XP Home in it, and delete it.
6. Save.
7. Reboot.
HOpe this helps. -
