Hello guys, I have read old posts on the 5672 making a noise when the touchpad is touched but it was dismissed as "typical" behavior due to the fact that electricity WILL make noise when it travels. However, this noise happens to route its way into my on board sound card and eventually manifests itself as a fairly annoying buzz that varies with the computer's volume level. This is pretty annoying and will go away; this also happens more often when the laptop is not plugged into my docking station (plugged into wall/on a NOTEPAL by Cooler Master cooling pad). I am just curious.

P.S. I didn't bother calling Acer because I figured they would just want me to send it in and I don't feel like going through all that noise rofls.

    Been there, done that.

Go into your sound controls and mute mic volume. You will still be able to use your mic but the buzzing noise will go away.

"Typical behavoir!" It's funny how much bad info goes across these internet boards. Kinda reminds you of car mechanics that say "oh, that's normal," whenever they have no clue what they are doing.
