alright so i did some research on the laptops and ended up buying this one. I would be using the laptop for college. But until then (and maybe during) I wanted to install some games on it. I know I wont be getting the best gaming experience. Before buying the laptop, i saw reviews regarding the fat32 format and how the hard drive was not just one big hard drive. Im going to be installing maybe two games (WoW, the original BF) and will have my music (about 10G). Should I even bother messing with the 'partition' or whatever its called? Tell why I should/should not.
appreciate it!
edit - when installing, should i install them in the C drive or the D drive?

I have the same question regarding my 8200 that is coming next week, as it has the same partitioned FAT32 hard-drive set up.
I know that it's fairly simple to drive to NTFS without losing anything, but I would also like to clarify a way of formatting the drive to NTFS while also combining all of the partitions (maybe note the backup one) without losing Windows. -
I converted my drives to NTFS after doing a e-recovery backup unto DVD. Both my C and D drives are in NTFS now. I left the partitions as they were. I did extend my MFT to 130MB after the conversion. Disk Defrag is much faster now.
You should not have any problem installing your games on the C Drive as they are big enough. Keep all your data files such Music, Pictures and Videos in D drive. I play BF2 and BHD as well and have no problem on my TM8204.
