    Acer 5720Z Problem When Shutdown help!

    hello everybody ;

    im new here in the forum im from puerto rico anyway here is my problem
    i buy a week ago a brand new acer aspire 5720-4516 come with vista so i downgrade to XP i install al my drivers i downloaded from www.acerpanam.com in notebook for laptop 5720Z and everything install with no problem.
    BUT!!! when i shutdown the laptop and turn on a few times the laptop frezee on the screen of shutdown and then i have to press the power botton to shutdown what will be the problem??

    When i do a system restore to 0 haveing no driver the lptop will shut down normal with no problem because i no have no drivers only XP
    i think maybe is some driver making this problem i dont now??

    SO is your HDD in AHCI or IDE mode now ?

    Are you using Vista drivers in XP ? Check each driver's manufacturer site, and hunt for any updates.

    Download CCleaner and cleanup the registry.

    Are you using a wireless connection or wired ?

    Download the chipset and graphics driver from Intel's website to get the latest versions.

    Is XP fully patched up ? SP3 and all critical updates....

    -my hhd is in AHCI MODE (system Bios v1.35)
    -i not using vista drivers
    -im downloading ccleaner
    -i dont have the laptop connect to internet
    -i searching for last version (but when i put only the vga drivers turn normaly)
    -and my xp have sp2

    its mean when i install xp for first time a make a system restor without drive
    (start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore)
    so when the laptop stock on shutdown y make a system restore go back to zero i have no drivers shut down work normaly
