    Acer 5735z Not powering up...

    I have an acer 5735z which seems to be having the same issue as this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/527789-dead-acer-aspire-5735z-2.html

    The power light comes on the front of the laptop, but when you press the power nothing happens. I have even removed the cmos battery and when reseated the screen comes on with the acer logo but then shuts off.... I have tried it with the battery connected and without but the same thing happens... Any advice would be great !!
