I see the old attempt at 3D now has twice the processing power and twice the graphics power thrown at it. Has anyone tested it for performance? I'm curious if it's improved enough to be worthy of purchase.

Has nobody tried one of the newer 3D laptops with the glasses? I would think the 5650 and i3 would have people racing to see if Acer integrated 3D has finally become viable. It's a 4 hour drive each way for me to see one of these... I'd love to have some idea if it's working before I head out. I've heard the prior version was a huge dissapointment, so I'm a little nervous to leap sight unseen.
