Well, basically I've had this laptop for more than a year now and it has been running really well overall but 2 months ago it started overheating a lot..
Even when I'm running no processes except for firefox my CPU tempriture runs about 70-75 degrees C. If I watch a movie I always have to place it on a cooling pad and even then the processor goes to 90+. At 105, the laptop shuts down..
I tried opening it and cleaning out the dust, but there was no dust at all.
I've installed AIDA 64 and when I run the system stability test tempritures goes off the roof. When I click on the "coolin fans" tab I see no results, not graph no nothing. Does that mean that the cooling fan is broken?
Would appreciate any help, thanks!

You should be able to hear the cooling fan if it works- no need to use AIDA for this.
It's quite likely that you have to dismantle the notebook and apply new high quality thermal compound. -
Yes, actually I can hear it working.
Btw is this something I can do on my own or should I contact a technician, and how much would something like that cost me? -
It's not a complicated task so you'd be better off doing it yourself.
