I have an issue with a Acer Aspire 5741-5763 Laptop that all of a sudden it will not power on. I press the power button and it lights up blue, I hear fan running, sounds like Hard drive is spinning up, but no Post on the screen. then after about 10 seconds it shuts off.

Scenario 1: Just Battery - Press power button, pwr button light on, Pwr LED on front on, fan starts, no screen or Post, after 10 seconds shuts off.

Scenario 2: A/C Plug and Batt - Press power button, pwr button light on, Pwr LED & Chrg LED on front on, fan starts, no screen or Post, after 10 seconds shuts off then after 5 seconds powers back up with no post or screen.

Both Scenarios there were no HDD or Wi-Fi LEDs lighting.

Tried all the tricks with removing the battery and holding the power button in for 60 seconds, replacing the battery. And pulled the HDD and Memory. The HDD did work when I attached it to my desktop via an external kit.

What could be the issue? Acer's web-site has nothing about this and I cannot even email them a question because you have to be a warranty customer to ask questions. Laptop is a little over a year old. Intel i3.

    Thanks for any assistance possible...

This is a 3 year old post, I doubt you'll get any response, it's better to start your own thread.
