    I want to increase the RAM from 4Gb to 8Gb and someone told me it's important to get exactly the same type/spec of RAM (I use the laptop for recording music)
    Does anyone know the make/type of RAM this laptop uses?

    DDR3 1066MHz (PC3-8500) SO-DIMMs come as standard but you can also use DDR3 1333MHz SO-DIMMs- these will work @1066MHz too.
