    Acer 5742-7784 Launch Manager not working?

    Hey everyone,

    I have a Acer Aspire 5742-7784, running Windows 7 Professional. I got this laptop sorta secondhand. My dad had to install a new harddrive and he replaced the previous Windows 7 with my current version, so the default Acer programs were wiped, like Launch Manager and Synaptics touchpad. I installed Launch Manager from the Acer website, and I noticed that when I try to skip songs it sort of shuffles my playlist. It doesn't really go forward or backward, it just goes random. And I can't open the Launch Manager program to configure the buttons. Any ideas?

    (I have no issues with the touchpad.)
