    Hello,

i have this notebook and reading this forums someone posted that repast with IC Diamond or (for example) Artic Silver 5, the temps downs from 7 to 15º.

Right now, my laptop in idle has 45-46º for CPU and 37-38º for GPU. In full (1 hour of GTA4) are 84º for CPU and (this i don't remember very well) 80º for GPU. All that with TurboBoost disabled and the nominal frequency (2Ghz).

It's not a very high temp but i don't know if i can forget and use it with no worries or better repast... The problem is the warranty, it has only one month and, in exception of the temps, all works perfectly...

¿It's easy to open the case and change the thermal paste? ¿I really note the difference if i do it?

Thanks for advance and sorry my english.

Your temps are OK as it is- you have no chance whatsoever of getting them down by more than 5*C- at that only if you are lucky.
Let it go for now- temps are OK and laptop is not overheating.

OK, then I stop obsessing about the temperature and just enjoy it... Just in case, when i have to clean up the fan for the dust in a few months, if I have to open it at all, I do it, but nothing for now...

    Thank you.

Dust gets gradually stuffed between the "leafs" of the radiator so it's best not to let it accumulate and use a gas-duster (canned air) at least once a month to clean the vents.
Another words it's better to keep it clean all the time rather than clean it thoroughly once in a while.
