Hello sume5h,
I have an acer5750G aswell, only with GT630(Although its just a rebranded GT540)
I'm having trouble with performance of the GT630. If I try enabling it for all GPU tasks it still performs equal as with having the intel integrated HD graphics enabled for all tasks. I've looked at benchmarks for the GT540 and it seems that it should be far superior to the intel HD graphics.
I am wondering if you are experiencing the same? Its a shame to have an ok graphics card but not having its performance taken advantage of :\
I've tried 3dmark vantage and got identical results, aswell with blender rendering. I'm suspecting that either I don't know how to enable the GT630 or since the screen is connected to the Intel HD graphics, the GT630 still has to interface the intel HD graphics and it becomes a bottleneck. -
are you running 3Dmark vantage program using GPU? you have to enable this from Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Setting > then add/browse 3Dmark Vantage then select Nvidia GPU from drop down list......then compare the results......right now i don't have my laptop with me....i will let you know the results later
try to run any 2011 game, the quality of the game will be very bad if you are using Intel Graphics or in some cases game may not run, then try the same game enabling GPU
