    First, I know there is an Arrandale topic for this model and other places too. I have searched, but digging through nearly 400 pages is not the easiest thing...

    So, any more news about when this is available in U.S.? How about Canada? Can I order from overseas/online shop?

    According to Acer's records there should be a couple of models of this unit coming to the US. One should even have the I7-620M CPU and the HD5650 GPU.

    In Canada there is as5820tg but only with the i3-350m and ati 5470

    I didn't know about those models, the only TG i was aware of was the one offered by NCIX here says its out of stock though

    damnit... wish I had heard about this yesterday. Just ordered a 5820T last night because I gave up hope on the 5820TG. Oh well... can't beat $595 shipped (after BCB) for a brand new 5820T :eek: It was cheap enough that if I don't like it, I can always sell it at a minimal loss, if any loss at all. After going through several laptops in the past year (Asus, HP, Acer), other than the HP Elitebook, I liked the quality of my Acer the most... so I'll likely be happy with this.

    I'm stil waiting for Acer's dsitributers to send TimelineX/HD5650 units to anyone other than Microcenter. Does anyone else have them?
