Hello I am new to this website and I would like some help (if this is in the wrong section I am sorry) I have recently sent and received my notebook from Acer. Since I got it back the battery in the tool bar says "not battery detected" and whenever I press the the battery indicator I don't get any response. When the computer is off the battery indicator is flashing amber. Also the worst part is that the battery is integrated so I cannot simply take the battery out and put it back in. One final note I have reset Bios defaults and I have Updated the bios and downgraded the bios.

If you sent your notebook to Acer support and it came back with battery not being detected my guess would be they have dismantled it and forgot to connect it when putting it back together.
The most likely problem is that they have failed to switch the battery on- there's a switch to the left of the HDD.
You'll have to remove the cover to get to it though.
