    Hi,

Somebody noticed that the DVD-Drive of the Acer Aspire 5920 almost opens automatically? When you push the button on the drive, it opens as it should, but also when you slightly push the bottom of the drive, it opens. This not a big problem, but it gets a bit annoying when you take your laptop on that side, you accidentally push the bottom of the drive so it opens when you are moving your laptop. Not good for the durability of the drive I would think.

Hmm, will be just mine then. I just noticed it only happens when I push the bottom of the drive right under the place where the button is. In that spot, it is possible to lift the drive a bit, and when I do that, it opens just as it would open when I would push the button :) Very weird.

you are not along. Mine 5920 does that too. If i push on the DVD door a little it opens also. Have you figured out what to do with it yet?

i pulled the skin of the door open and shaved the botton down a little and now its working fine. If you do this be careful do not shave too much off.
