hi acer users. i have a 5920g with 2 gb ddr2 667 and im thinking about upgrade to 4gb. im looking for good memories that could give more "power" to my acer to play games and running other aplications better. im from portugal and im thinking buy this memories:
TeamGroup
Sodimm de 2048MB PC4300 @ 667MHZ
- 4.4.4.12
45€
and
TeamGroup
- Sodimm de 2048MB PC5300 @ 667MHZ
- 5.5.5.12
49€
now my question is, who is better pc4300 or pc5300. i think the price is very good but will i notice the improvement in the perfomence. is this worth it?

4300 is not 667MHz, so you need to get the 5300 if you want to keep your memory running at the same speed as now.
-
5300 is better but the 32bit vista cannot recognize 4gb of ram only on 64bit vista.

Currently 4GB of RAM is probably an overkill.

yes post some benchs. do you really notice and improvement with 4gb? humm i have vista ultimate 32 with aero and in idle the windows consume 1gb of ram, and i think its to many, so, next week im probably buy that 2x 2gb team memories. i hope my computer get more faster in game, i tested the pro evolution 2008, timeshift, company of heroes and he can handle all the games in high settings without problems. only need for speed pro street as issues in framerate but i think is a problem of the game himself, people says its runs badly in dx10 graphic cards.

vista x64: it's the same install like 32 bit version(boot from dvd and so on...)...you just need the x64 version of vista -
