I am going to purchase a SDHC 4gb SD card. Only problem is I read that many card readers cannot read this format.
Does anyone know if the card reader built into the Acer 5920 can read this card? If not, maybe there is a firmware update that enables these cards to be read?
It it cannot, I will probably stick to 2gb cards for the time being.

which is better? SDHC or SD's Extreme III?
I prefer to have one as a secondary drive soon. -
I've got a sandisK 4 giga micro SDHC, and I can't get it to work, not with the sd adapter, nor with the micromate usb adapter.Vista doesn't recognize any of them.
anybody got a good link for the sandisk driver ?? -
Make sure you have the latest drivers for the cardreader installed: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_5920/vista/Drivers/CardReader_Ricoh_v.3.52.02.zip

is this the latest update for 5920G???

Try this one : http://www.station-drivers.com/page/ricoh.htm

EDIT: The driver from the link e30sep11 posted is also 3.52.02 (check setup.ini). Since they are the same, I would get the driver from the trusted source
