    Thanks a lot!!!
For those of you running 64-bit vista you can flash the bios through vista CD.

    helppppppp

    hi guys,

after updating to 3811 bios version, the fan started to work very, very strange. it doesn't stop working and constantly increasing and decreasing the speed, even while i'm only browsing. the cpu temp is around 62-65 degrees celsius
(core 0: 60deg; core 1: 60 deg., THRM:64 degree) with cpu load about 2% to 10%. i'm not sure this is a normal behaviour...
what should i do? downgrade to some older version ov bios?! which one?

    i'm sick of that...

    p.s. as5920g, t5250, 2gb ram, 160hdd....

Same thing here man plus i think lately im having some audio issues with my 5920g especially with movies and youtube vids when some one is talking a loud piercing noise can be heard some times and its kind of random and tried nearly all realtek drivers and nothing helped plus disabled the modem and removed all codecs also did nothing ...i think this bios (3811) caused that as i dont remember having it when i got my lappy with bios 3708 so if any of u guys knows how to fix the audio prob plus solving the temps plz tell me if u recommend downgrading the bios to another version .

Try to update the nvidia driver and install the latest realtek driver. I also installed a lot of hot fixes for Vista and some of the problems disappeared. Another thing that is happening - there is huge difference between the speed of the fan while charging and while on battery....maybe SP1 should be installed... i'm sick of that!

btw: 22% battery wear level for 4 months of use!!!! i'll appreciate if somebody can tell me why....

This bios update according to logs "Fixed CPU fan and throttling issue when DTS disabled with Vista".

I upgraded yesterday and have not noticed any issues, besides the fact the fan is working on a slow speed nearly all the time. I'd rather hav it spinning all the time than overheat my cpu.
