    Hey guys,

I'm new here, and I got a problem. Recently, my adapter just stopped working. I went to my local computer service shop, they said that there is a cut in my cable.

So I asked them is there any replacement for it, and they showed me this charger where the Output is 19V, 3.4A (Inputs are similar).

On the back of my laptop, it says the Input is 19V, 4.74A. (I'm sure you guys are too).

So out of my curiosity, will the charger they offered me be compatible with my laptop? As I don't want my laptop to be damaged due to wrong charger.

    Please, I need urgent feedback.

    Thank you very much.

Best Contact Acer Dealer and not a local shop retailer as they know nothing but just wanna make money by selling something similar but wrong....A small difference can cause issues that you might not see for a while.

The output and input should be similar to your previous chargers.

My advice dont buy and get one from acer dealer you might have to pay a little more cash but its worth it. Sometime any thing happens to your laptop because of a minor current difference then its not covered in warranty....

So, moral of story is why pay more at later stage when a little money can get you the rite charger you need.

Ditto the above. When it comes to powering the laptop, this is one of the areas you don't want to be scrimping on. Pay a little more, get the right one, and you won't be dealing with a dead laptop down the line!!!
