    Acer 5920G BIOS update question

    my acer 5920g bios version is 1.3809 and i would like to update to the 1.3813. do it under windows or in DOS? WinPhlash is safe?? i have windows 7 64bit.

    AFAIK regular WinPhlash doesn't even run under 64-bit Windows. However, check out the x920G vs. 9600M GT thread - I posted a 64-bit WinPhlash somewhere in there.

    DOS is still a safer choice, though, as the 64-bit WinPhlash is completely untested.
