Was burning some CD-R's in my HD-DVD drive, when I put one of the blank ones in the drive just kept trying to read it for 10 minutes. Tried to hit eject, to no avail. Had to shut down the laptop, when I restarted it, the drive simply doesn't work. Still can't eject or read the drive. Help!!

If there is a small pinhole on the side of the drive, get a paperclip and use that in the hole to trigger the spring loaded eject.
But for the drive itself? Reinstall the drivers for it, and if that doesn't work I'd say you need to call Acer to get a replacement on a broken part.
