    Hello guys,

I have a question regarding upgrading the RAM modules of an Aspire 5920g machine.

I believe it would be beneficial for me to upgrade from 2gb to 4gb RAM, as I'm mostly playing computer games, and Vista is using up quite a bit from the RAM available.

My question is - how easy is it to replace the memory modules on a 5920g? I turned the laptop upside down, but as far as I can see, there is not a specific cover only for the memory department of the machine, and I have to remove quite a lot of screws, and pretty much the whole cover to access the memory department. Am I missing something? I have upgraded my RAM on an older Asus machine, and it was just one or two screws and I was done.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Replacing the memory is a piece of cake. On the underneath, remove the large cover. (Unscrew, then you have to carefully prize the cover off, but be carefull as it does not come away freely.)

Then you will see the ram slots underneath.

    Hope this helps.

Awesome, I knew I saw this somewhere but thanks a lot :)

And one more question - should I go for DDR2-667 or DDR2-800? I would assume -800 will not be compatible, although on the crucial website it says it is, and the price is exactly the same.
