I am writing this thret in case it helps someone with similar problems to the one i had and since this forum has been a great help to me i guess i have to pay back somehow.
The story...
I bought an Acer 5920G (t7300, 2Gb mem, 200Gb hard disk, bluetooth)
The same day i bought a Hitachi 721010 7200rpm 100Gb sata hard disk and i changed the internal one, installed vista ultimate and was more than happy with my new system. I also updated to the latest bios available from acer (3708)
1 week ago i also bought an intel Turbo Memory 1Gb mini-pci express and installed it. My problems started after i realised that the Intl ReadyDrive was enabled only on the 1st reboot and then the option was grayed out. I thought it would take some time until it gets really enabled so i did nothing. After 5 days i was quite mad because i couldn't see it work. So i did a reinstall of the Intel Turbo Memory driver and had exactly the same results as before. THe Readydrive was enabled only after the 1st reboot. One more reboot and the option gets grayed out and disabled. I did try the driver Acer gives (an older that the one Intel gives) with same results.
I started thinking that it was because of the hard disk i had changed (maybe its to fast for it to work ???).
Anyway my problem got solved today after a bios downgrade i did. I returned back to the previous bios from acer (3706) and immediately the ReadyDrive option got normal (i am able to choose it) and enabled. Maybe Acer broke something in the latest bios who knows? The point is that at least for me Intel ReadyDrive and 3708 bios from Acer is not an option.
Hope that helps someone with same config/laptop.
