I used the nVidia VGA BIOS mod a few weeks ago, this is probably not my problem, though. I booted blindly using the USB stick (had to remove the HDD) and flashed the old BIOS, yet I still get a blank screen.
Before this happened, my laptop was acting really sluggish for some reason, so I thought I should restart to fix it, I did that and it came up as a blank screen! First restart, it seemed to boot to the OS, next time, it did not.
It's pretty much like the 5315 post (what a coincidence).
Windows 7 by the way

I got it to boot to the OS again! But the monitor and video-out don't work at all.
Would reconnecting the monitor cable fix this? Or do I have buy a new screen? What? Jeeze.. -
And I found the problem. The GPU.
Now, where can I buy a replacement?! -
