I've never worked with the Crisis disk so I can't help you. From what i've read it seems fiddly and doesn't always work. dedalos91 has just spent a few days talking through this exact same thing with another user literally in the last few posts - I advise you read this and try his suggestions. If you still can't get it working then I don't think anyone will be able to help you with the Crisis disk.

Alternatively, if you can get the broken laptop to boot from USB or CD into MSDOS then it is much easier to blind flash. Write back if you can get the laptop into MSDOS and i'll point you in the right direction. A good way to check if it is in MSDOS is to give the laptop a minute to load and then type "beep" (no quotes) and press return ... the laptop should beep

Yes, USB stick is prefered. Using the HP USB format utility to create a MSDOS boot disc is the most popular and well supported method, but you can use any method .. just as long as it works and you can copy on the files "phlash16.exe" and "5920G_MXM_V3.WPH". Try searching using google for a method, its not hard to find. Its discussed on most of the threads you've replied to if you bother to read them.

I wont to try this method to flash the bios:

"you will need to format a flash drive as bootable, using the HP USB format tool. Then, copy Phlash16.exe and your BIOS (as BIOS.WPH) from the crisis package to the drive.
Create a text file named "autoexec.bat" on the drive (make sure that it really gets named "autoexec.bat" and nout "autoexec.bat.txt" or "autoexec.txt" - Windows loves to mess up extensions this way), and put into it the following line:
    Code:

    phlash16 /p /x bios.wph

When done, remove the HDD and MXM card from the machine, and try booting from the drive. When the machine reboots, you are ready. Reinstall the MXM card and HDD. "

Can I try this method? It is all right? any error in this procedure?

    p.s.

    here ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/480992-acer-laptop-phoenix-bios-bios-mod-request.html) I read this:

.... At command prompt, enter this command:-
    Code:

    phlash16.exe /x /s /mode=3 bios-filename

    can I insert this command in the autoexec.bat? is better the fisrt (phlash16 /p /x bios.wph) or the second command (phlash16.exe /x /s /mode=3 bios-filename) ?
