hi all, i bought a new 5920g with T7300 yesterday, but i recognized after some time that the bottom of the screen is somewhat brighter than the upper screen and its always that way regardless of the angle/position of the screen.i mean the top frame of the exporer window's black is always darker than the taskbar's black.

Is this normal? if it's not is there a solution?

Ok. It is normal for a LCD screen to be slighlty brighter at the bottom. This is because the backlight is situated down there and the light diffuses upwards. However, this should not be very noticable with a new machine as it hasn't been used much. This could be cause by either a fault in the LCD panel or the inverter (which feeds power to the backlight). As its still fairly new it may be worth contacting the manufacturer. As for solutions, the only thing you can do is ensure that the backlight is fully turned up (pressing Fn and the up arrow key I think)
