    Hello!

When i bought my acer 5920g it came with a free external hdd by western digital. I believe Elements is the model.

However, the thing only comes with 1 USB connector (no power cable) but my laptop can't seem to power it on. I'm guessing the power output coming from acer 5920g isn't enough but then why pair the two in the first place?

Just checking if yours have a free ext hdd as well, and if it works?

Did you try out the drive on other computers?
