It seems I've been sold a laptop with a bios password, and can't enter the setup to get the system to boot from the disc. I have Windows 7 Ultimate just sitting here next to me, and it's doing my head in.

Any idea how I can get rid of this bios password? The seller said he didn't set a password up on the bios, and tbh he doesn't sound like he even knows what a bios is.

Would flashing it to the latest bios sort this?
    Current version is V.2.09

Sorry but this constitutes bypassing security measures so I have to close it.
