Hello everyone, i am a new member because i came here looking to slolve a very frustrating problem of computer freeze ups and BSD. After searching for answers and not finding a suitable answer, i had to to solve it myself. I bought my acer 1 month ago and had severe crashing, lockup and BSD problems from day one. Every problem was different in the cause of the event. I tried up dating video drivers, wireless drivers, did memory diagnostics, re-installing the os numerous times, with no results, even considered sending it in to acer.I couldnt use my computer for more tha 10 or 15 minutes with out it freezing up,shutting down or BSD. I read the events log to see what was causing the problem at the time and every event pointed to something different every time, but one thing i finally noticed was the word "server " in every other event. I was ready to just sell the thing and be done with it.I finally decided to remove a program that came with the computer that possibly could be linked to a server. I also removed all the free trial ware and just left everything concerning acer. After removing the the program i thought was the cause, i havent had a problem with it since, its been running 2 days now and boots up fine with no crashes or freeze ups or BSD or having to run the repair program as i did before. I think i ran the repair problem a hundred times..lol. The program i removed was the NTI backup and the NTI burning software and i udated the video driver and lan driver and the wireless drive, also installed all the updates. I am very happy now cause i can surf the net, play games, basically use the computer now without any trouble. As i aid before its been 2 days without a single problem and i figure that was the cause of all my problems. I know a lot of people has been having the same problems from what i have read, so i hope that what i did can solve theirs headaches as it did mine.....thanks for reading

Medtech, welcome to the forums, and thanks for sharing your story.
Please edit your post and format it so it's more readable - paragraphs would be nice. :)

I'll try that to get rid of my keyboard issue... I've already burnt the recovery disc and I don't need the application anymore.

    Thanks for sharing!
