    Only started this cause the other ones are closed

    You don't have to change any settings to stop the é from poping up to change it back

    hit shift + Ctrl

    will change from é to / and vise versa

    Ah yes, the dreaded multilingual keyboard.
    You can also go into the Language bar settings and remove everything but US. That'll get rid of it permanently.

    If you only use English then go on ebay and get a proper US English keyboard. The multilingual keyboards mess up the position of the left shift key and the enter key.
