    Hey everyone,

So my display backlight is not working and my screen is dim... I am running windows 7 pro 64 bit and have been for a while. Last night I was using my laptop fine and i tried to dim my backlight and it wouldn't. I tried the Fn key and also from the battery settings of windows. Oddly enough this morning I open up my laptop and the screen is dim. This time I try to raise the brightness both methods no go. My screen now seems to be stuck dim. I called Acer they said to send it in.. Before sending it in I was wondering if anyone had any solutions of suggestions to fix my problem. I also tried restarting my system see if that made any difference along with taking out my battery.. Hope someone can help me and it is appreciated..
