    Hi all!

I have the same problem as the user in another thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=368769&highlight=6930+screen
but since the layout of 6920 and 6930 are different, I stuck at the part when I have to pull out two video cables beneath speaker cover, cause there is only one cable (that I am aware of) in 6920. So I hope someone could explain to me what to do next after removing speaker cover, cause I don't want to brick my laptop :(

    Thanks in advance,
    Filip

    Hi everybody!

I have an acer 6920g (934G32Bn model, LXAPQ0U071 series), with an 16 inch WUXGA (1920 X 1080 resolution) display. Unfortunately my display crashed yesterday in the left upper corner, but is still usable. On the other hand (for a future replacement) I need to know what kind of panel (model or series) to order. I know there is a posibility to find the panel series with desassambling the laptop lid, but I am afraid that cracks will not expand even more, until the order reaches me.
Please help, and excuse me for my (very) bad english.

    hey
began replacing my acer 6920g laptop screen. and become stuck. I dont know how to detach the hinges from the bezel screen for the final step, i have removed all obvious screws but cannot detach the screen to try and access the lcd, but cannot. Any help to try these hinges in the final step. I think this is the last step. I have detached the screen from the main unit so far and removed 6 bezel screws. Please reply asap

You guys will need to locate the service guide for the 6920G to complete the job.
Now, unfortunately, sharing them here on NBR is against the forum rules because it breaks the explicit EULA in the service guide itself.
However, there are sites out there that host them. Go Google around for a while, and you'll find them.
