    I recently upgraded my operating system from vista home premium to windows 7 RC1. Few of the obstacles I faced were:
    Screen resolution would not increase above 1024x768 and Aero was stuck in basic mode - both fixed by updating nVidia driver
    Media Control on the left doesnt work - currently i got the mute button to work, however I have no volume control. Tried installing Acer empowering technology which failed to work under the operating system under various compatibility modes.

    Can anyone help me make it perfect? Windows 7 is pretty sweet!

    ~Thanks

    LOL! Hi pal! I have installed Windows 7 RC x64 Ultimate recently. Now, I got roll back to Windows Vista x86 Home Premium.
    I don't have any problems with Windows 7 RC except some minors bugs such as adminstrator problem. About the volume control, you need to install realtek. Empowering technology is not a driver. Realtek is a driver.

    You should have burn your Driver and Application driver into a Disc before installing Windows 7 right? That disc is very helpful.
    Crystal eyes, Arcade Deluxe, Touch Pad, Empowering Tech(LOL I didn't install it since it is junk), realtek, and so on are all inside the Driver and Applications Driver disc.

    @Nova.
    i have had vista 64 and windows 64 on my 6920g with everything working no problems. all drivers are available. check on 6920g owners thread in this forum. good luck.
    (vista x64 seems like a dinosaur compared to windows 7 x64, but both are slower than XP. personal opinion, no flaming necesary :rolleyes: )

    What Puka said - the Dritek Launch Manager is required for the CineDash to work properly. Go grab it from Acer's download page here.
